If you haven’t picked up your Smart Driving License yet, they are ready for collection at the centers where they were processed, but you will be required to confirm the status of your application online through NTSA’s official platform before making any trip.
In a notice published by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) on Friday, October 16, 2026, the Authority urges applicants to return to the centers where their biometrics were captured to collect their smart driving licenses.
The services provided by NTSA are open and accessible directly to applicants, and the Authority asks them to monitor the progress of their documents without seeking help from brokers or intermediaries, who at points were accused of fleecing unsuspecting applicants who were seeking to get driving licenses and other NTSA services.
Applicants are advised to carry valid identification documents when going to collect their driving licenses, and they should first confirm their application status online on NTSA’s official platform before starting the trip.
