Kenya holds a large number of Alfa Romeo fans, and few of them own at least one Alfa Romeo model. I know my friend Gursharan “Gushbumps” Singh won’t miss on top of the list. In the past few hours, Alfa Romeo uncovered the special 33 Stradale that takes the Italian brand’s design to another level.

The special 33 Strandale is called the Perla Nera, meaning “Black Pearl,” and is one of Alfa Romeo’s 33 Strandale that has been created with more carbon fiber rather than a conventional paint finish, and it came through a close collaboration between the owner and Alfa’s bespoke creative division. This ultra rear supercar will be strictly limited, and it’s inspired by the legendary 1967 33 Stradale.
The Bottega Alfa Romeo was behind the creation of this car, and they are the brand’s bespoke creative division responsible for building a highly personalized version of the 33 Strandale. Only 33 of Perla Nera Strandale are planned to be built, with each unit being developed on what the owner would want.

The Perla Nera features a matte black carbon fiber body, standing out as the main attraction of the car. The carbon fiber panels were hand laid to follow the shape of the car body, while on the hood it was modeled in a pattern and positioned to emphasize the distinctive V-shaped front section. The carbon fiber design continues across the doors and towards the rear.
Mirrors, caps, the wheels, and exterior details receive black finishing, and the Alfa Romeo badge and the owner’s Perla Nera name are finished in black and gray, giving the car a stealthy appearance.

The new Strandale features a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that generates up to 630 horsepower; the power is then sent to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and then released to the rear wheels. According to the automaker, the 33 Strandale can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, and it claims the top speed of 333 km/h.
(207 mph).
Stepping inside, the exterior theme still continues with black Alcantara and exposed carbon fiber. Owners can personalize their car, and the personalization will include an individually fitted driver’s seat, custom Perla Nera branding, and engraved initials on the gear shifter.

The Perla Nera will be available for view at the Alfa Romeo Museum until October 18. This will give enthusiasts a chance to see this unusual 33 Strandale model close enough.
