A few days after the Mood Nganya was launched, another head-turner is still cooking hot and will be out soon. The Optimus Prime Nganya, as the name suggests, looks something like the fictional character in the Transformers movie.

Optimus Prime, as a character, he seen as a heroic leader of the Autobots, portraying strong moral character, bravery, and dedication to protecting all who surround him. The Optimus Nganya, even though it has a different appearance from the vehicle that portrays the character in the Transformers movie, which transformed into a semi-truck, still has some facial resemblance to the semi.

This Isuzu bus, especially the lower half, has been modified to give it an aggressive styling, and it’s highly customized, giving it a futuristic, armored, and almost robotic appearance. The design includes a bold sculpted bumper with deep contours and layered paneling.

There are integrated LED fog lights and multiple light pods that enhance both visibility and style. I have observed only a few changes, but it resembles lighting styling as in the Mood Matatu; the top off-road lighting bar and flickering light are found on Mood.

The whole vehicle is finished with a metallic blue sheen with black accents that emphasize the vehicle’s aggressive and high-tech look (like something from a sci-fi perspective or look). The sides are basic, only filled with the Transformers movie robotic character graffiti. At the back, receive a dramatic customization with a muscular layered design, especially the lighting elements (brake lights and indicator lights).

Extras include side skirts, custom hubcaps, and a stainless steel or chrome dual exhaust system on the sides, giving it a rugged, truck-like flair. The Prime isn’t just a vehicle; it’s a rolling piece of art and culture, merging Kenyan Matatus’ creativity with Transformers’ aesthetics.

The Optimus Prime Matatu will be routing on the CBD to Embakasi route 33, and the people behind all the work are Babel Gody, the designer; the airbrush portraits by Khalifacliff; the interior by Sitima Solutions; and the sounds and visuals by Source_entertainment_Kenya. We will be updating you with the full spec, including the interior and pricing (both the market price and after modification).
